Every year they sit there looking miserable. Why the hell don't they just stay home, if it is such torture for them? Minhaj did a great job and deserved a little more enthusiasm.

Yeah, he did start kinda slow, but then he really hit it home!

Also made some amazingly great points about how the media can now know what it's like to be a minority. Hey, guys, try that one on and walk around in it for awhile. You'll find it fits pretty doggone well.

It was a unique performance. He amused on the one hand, and got 'em thinking seriously about some very sober realities on the other hand. (At least I hope so!) A speech that delivered in all kinds of directions, including tough love.
