I don't usually like Fiore - tends to be a bit heavy-handed for my taste - but that suits the ALEC issue well!

The old concept of private interests balancing out each other has been superseded as something unexpected happened: those who were thought to be natural competitors have joined together to create a situation that benefits all of them. A century ago, they were called "Trusts." Today, they're called ALEC.
