Thanks Elleng.

Google search didn't turn up any news that contract negotiations are over either.

Fingers crossed he gets what he needs and wants from MSNBC.

O'Donnell is in contract negotiations now, after a massive call-in campaign.

Guess it depends on the definition of senior citizen. My mom, who was a self-described "news nut" ("Junkie" was not a term she'd use) all her life until she lost it a bit in her nineties, never did get the hang of the computer. My boomer (and a few years earlier) generation have been hanging in there with computers for more than thirty years, internet from about the beginning. Young Whippersnapper!"

To be fair David Doel is supporting Lawrence & pointed out not only will it be a loss to MSNBC but also to its viewers. He also stated Lawrence covers stories others do not & warned that Rachel & Chris Hayes could be next. I agree the video was made before the push-back from viewers.

The guy running MSNBC is good friends with Brian Williams, and has plans to move him into the 10 PM EST slot. Lawrence is not willing to be moved out of Prime Time, probably into Williams' old 11 PM position.

The negotiations are just their way of making it look like they want to keep him, but it's only a matter of days, and I'll be surprised if something different happens. Negotiations seldom go to the last possible day, if he was staying, he'd be signed by now.

I still like Rachel but wish Joy would have her nightly show too.

it's like "Meryl Streep is getting married at 67, click to see who she is marrying". I looked it up, (I didn't click) she is not 67 (older) and she's been married forever to the same guy.

Look it up online before you post.

Please.
