My daughter was very allergic to cow's milk so after she weaned, I gave her Goat's Milk. I am very petite (5'1) but my husband is tall (6'1&quot . She is 5'4" as an adult.

So if she wasn't fed Non-Cow's milk she would be 5'10 or so? Nope, it's what you drink, not your parents genes. Right.

What is WRONG with being short, anyway?

The study was dairy vs non-dairy, so goats milk would fall under dairy.

I have always read that while genes are important, improved nutrition is the reason todays humans are--in general--taller than in generations past. My son in law is about 5'8 and his dad was about the same. My daughter's dad is about the same. Both of her boys are already over 6' and they are just 17 and 19. Hard to say why, I imagine it's a combination of genetics and diet.

His Dad is 6 ft and my Dad was 6'2. He ended up being 5'7 in adulthood. I think the not drinking milk contributed to it.
