Have you traveled in western Canada recently? There you will find that there is no "Canadian Accent." The Canadian "oot" for "out" is gone. Probably a result of US TV and radio crossing the border.

12. I was actually up there last week. I wasn't listening for it, but people didn't sound....

...much different from what I've heard for decades, at least in the Toronto area. The accent to me at least is still distinct. But the second video (in post #10) is clearer than the original, and in that one I could hear the Canadian accent.

9. This is ALSO in Canada...

A few days after a Muslim extremist (self radicalized lone wolf) killed a Canadian soldier guarding a war memorial in Ottawa, and then ran into Parliament to try and shoot some politicians.

Prank: fake racist tries to convince people not to ride the bus with a Muslim, and ends up getting his ass handed to him. (Guy who hit him is in the wrong, but still...)
