Everything Counts by Depeche Mode

The handshake seals the contract from the contract
There's no turning back
The turning point of a career in Korea, being insincere
The holiday was fun packed
The contract still intact
The grabbing hands
Grab all they can
All for themselves after all
The grabbing hands
Grab all they can
All for themselves after all
It's a competitive world
Everything counts in large amounts
The graph on the wall
Tells the story of it all
Picture it now
See just how the lies and deceit
Gained a little more power
Confidence taken in by a sun tan and a grin

Lots of great songs. Try Walking In My Shoes; or, of course, People are People.

Loved that band from the early 80's through the early 90's...

Personal Jesus
Policy of Truth
Enjoy the Silence
Never Let Me Down
Just Can't Get Enough
Shake the Disease
Lie to Me
Somebody
People are People
Strangelove

I grew up on New Wave in the 80's and DM was at the top of my rotation with The Smiths, The Cure, REM, U2 and more...thanks for the reason to go dust off some old CDs!!!
