This is a song and video by Vic Mensa about the Laquan McDonald shooting. I am shocked there has not been more of a negative backlash. I am also shocked the song and video have not gotten more attention in general. There seems to have been little to no discussion of the song. Until tonight I had never heard about the song. I remember the backlash when Ice-T put out the song cop killer. In this song Mensa makes numerous threats against cops in general, and against Jason Van Dyke specifically.

we are on the verge of a black rebellion, imo. the powers-that-be have been warned time and time again and the oppression and murders and acquittals continue.

the best strategy for the police is to stop shooting back people (and mentally ill people) unnecessarily. the best strategy for society is to provide justice.

people have a right to defend themselves...period.
