CNN: North Korea threatens Preemptive strike on Guam, hours after Trump's remarks.

Washington (CNN)North Korea's military is "examining the operational plan" to strike areas around Guam with medium-to-long-range strategic ballistic missiles, state-run news agency KCNA said early Wednesday local time.

The threat comes just hours after US President Donald Trump warned Pyongyang that if they continued to threaten the US, they would "face fire and fury like the world has never seen."

3. The only way I can see that happening is if the U.S. made a preemptive attack on NK. NK knows

very well they would be history if they actually did a preemptive attack on Guam. While historically there is strategic significance of Guam, why NK would make a preemptive attack on Guam makes very little sense, since South Korea, would be the most direct threat to them. They are also ignoring Japan and the other countries in that region who not on friendly terms with NK.

It makes no sense for NK to do a preemptive attack, nor does it make any sense for the U.S. to do a preemptive attack against NK

any out of control general going renegade, the situation will remain in limbo as it is, or China will someone be able to get NK and the U.S. back to the negotiating table. Hopefully the later

Kill a relatively small number of Americans so far from the mainland that the fallout won't even affect us, but providing an excuse to nuke N. Korea back to the stone age. It sounds like a joke.
