(53,235 posts)(Granted, that's not much of a difference.) But Hyatt doesn't give a shit about these women, so they hire subcontractors, who have a big turnover rate. That means they have no vested interest in your personal security/sanitation like a unionized Hyatt employee would.
Hyatt has joined forces (it wasn't clear in what way in the interview) with Goldman Sachs and the Walton family. That's like how to make really sucky even worse.
Hyatt sucks big time!

(23,199 posts)30 Rooms a day instead of 14, for the same pay. A giant leap forward for the elite class. There is no longer any doubt of the intent of these actions. Work people to death, steal their retirement money. Have I told you lately how much I hate Republicans?

(28,969 posts)No wonder they're huring...That's way too many!
I've been consciously avoiding Hyatt hotels since I heard they were having labor trouble, and will
continue to do so !

(28,969 posts)That's what you call "Exploitation"....Are they currently on strike?

(28,969 posts)Maybe if they have constant turnovers Hyatt will get the message -- with the help of a boycott, of course.

(23,199 posts)If someone doesn't want to clean 30 rooms a day for shitty money while destroying their health, we'll find someone else who will.

(28,969 posts)but I think working conditions THIS bad, on top of a boycott,
will draw result in some sort of corrective measure.
if the american people let the rethugs steal another election this democracy will truly be DEAD!!!! Don't get me wrong, it's on it's last gasps now. So on the other hand it may not even matter whether they do or not,
