(19,190 posts)for a human being, let alone a "supposed" president of the United States.
If he's not the MOST loathsome, dishonest, vile, duplicitous, racist, xenophobic, lazy piece of shit on this - or any other - planet, then I'd like to know who is.

(5,101 posts)Where to begin?
I don't know...
Am I amazed? Flabbergasted? Dumbfounded? Horrified? Disgusted? Incredulous? Having a nightmare?
All at once.
And I'm not American. I truly have no idea of how to define your feelings. What can it be, if even as stranger living abroad I'm short of superlatives?
A press conference that? Une bouillasse de merde sans queue ni tête ? C'est ça une conférence ?
They were violent on both sides???? Not all those were racists, also very nice people? WTF?? What kind of nice person will walk next to violent racist?
He "thinks" the driver is a disgrace? Not sure yet? Legal semantics? Murder or terrorism? Why not flip the coin to determine? Au point où on est, ça ne changera plus grand chose...
Neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned. Should? Not "must"? Maybe yes, maybe no...
And to top it all off, he places on an equal footing the father founders and a secessionist ?
Ben mon colon ! Quand l'hosto se fout de la charité, il n'y va pas avec le dos de la cuiller.
I'm sorry, really sorry from the bottom of my heart. All my wishes to you to get rid off this walking calamity very soon.

(205,025 posts)As Brian Williams just said on the news "We've never had a 'president' like this." It boggles the mind. Saturday was bad enough, but today actually made me feel physically sick. There's no coming back from this - and I'm afraid for the future. No matter who it was - or even how much I disagreed with him - I never doubted any president's sincere belief that he was doing the right thing for the American people. This is historic in a terrible way.

(5,101 posts)...you are welcome. Not that you are not, just it sound strange here. Welcoming you for the "great president?
I hope I'm not to confused and could express the tone and meaning I want to give
Even Bush was undeniably a true patriot.
Maybe lawyers can find something to kick him off. I'm not very familiar with your laws, I only have a rough knowledge. I'm lawyer but I'm not specialised in Constitutional laws. However, I have the feeling that something as a violation of Oath of Allegiance or something close...
I really don't know. I just feel that a president who's acts and words tends regularly to tarnish the credibility and the dignity of his function and of his country, is not fit to occupy the oval office.

(205,025 posts)In fact, it was his "selection" by the Supreme Court that gave rise to Democratic Underground to begin with - and it was originally launched on his inauguration day. I didn't vote for him, was never a fan - especially after the ill conceived and disastrous invasion of Iraq - and I couldn't believe he actually won the election in 2004 after that.
But I never thought he was out to destroy the country, just that he listened to those with less than honorable motives and made some bad decisions. Trump, on the other hand, also did not "win" the election, but I think his motives are much darker. He isn't just listening to the "wrong" people, but has actually undermined our system of government by colluding with a foreign power - and one that definitely does not have the best interests of the people of this country at heart.
I don't know if it was just his latest attempt at yet another "get rich" scheme - but he has sacrificed the American people in his efforts and alienated our closest allies across the globe. Trust that has existed for generations is now gone - and it's only taken a few months! And every time we think it can't get worse, it invariably does. He has no sense of history and no knowledge of government. He obviously listens to no one except what works for him at the moment and where we're going to be if he persists is terrifying to envision.

(5,101 posts)It was a matter of count or miswritten bulletins.
I remember because a woman on TV was saying " We are a laughing stock to the world, because we are seen either as not knowing how to count or to read"
Bush was bad, for sure, but I never seen him as not patriot. His aides and advisors were more dubious. He diminished the US credibility , He has done serious damages wich kept Obama more than busy along 8 years to fix, but, at the very least, he did not tarnish the dignity of the function or the US.
The current calamity has done much damages than could done a hurricane. Inside and outside the country.
I don't know how exactly the History will define him.
