(40,416 posts)It is a great series.
Plus Scotty is played by James Doohan's son.

(1,642 posts)That fellow Vic Mignogna is very talented.
He writes, directs, produces, and embodies Cap't Kirk better than all the other imitators.
He also played a Klingon in a recent episode of ST:The New Voyages.

(2,171 posts)This is the best episode they have done and Elizabeth Maxwell does some great acting and she is also hot.

(1,642 posts)Yes, she's hot. A little "green" for my taste.
I like the counselor with the big, red wig. Not just beautiful, but proof that the ship's counselor doesn't have to be an annoying character.
The King was Q. The queen was played by the actress who was Sheba in the old Battlestar series.
Vic's shirt is fuzzy and worn. His eye liner makeup is silly.
As I said, "He embodies Kirk." He had his hands all over her while providing her with comfort.
I wish they would film the episodes in widescreen format.
All things considered, an excellent episode, filled with allegory and meaning. Just found out there's only two more after this one, and then ... oblivion.

The ships counselor is Vic's real life girlfriend.I do not understand why CBS/Paramount does not find a way to license this show so it can be shown on one of their networks.it's good enough for broadcast or cable networks.

(1,642 posts)I've now seen and enjoyed every ST:Continues and ST:New Voyages episode.
On YouTube, there seems to be lots of these fan-produced episodes based on the original series utilizing authentic-looking sets.
Are there any you'd recommend? What's this ST:Farragut?
Thanks!

(1,642 posts)You'll love the production values, and that the scripts are written by old-time Trek authors.
It opens with a fabulous sequel to the Doomsday Machine.
Live long and prosper, friend.
Over and out.
