Karl Rove and his secret cabal of 1 percenters and their secret money are once again running a deceptive ad, this time with an ad that attacks President Obama.

The ad is untruthful and deceptive for a number of reasons. First, Rove mentions that Kennedy "lowered taxes", but left out that Reagan oversaw the two biggest tax increases in US history.

Secondly, both the unemployment and the debt mentioned in the ad were created by policies of previous administrations.

Lastly, President Obama was not trying to compare his legacy to any other President, but was comparing the first 2 years of his term and his accomplishments, to the first 2 years of other administrations.

The first 2 years of many Presidents throughout history, besides the 3 he mentioned, did indeed have very uneventful starts with very little legislation accomplishments.

Let's review President Obama's record of accomplishments for his first 2 years:

1) Obama stabilized the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, and many think averted an even greater crisis, and now there is economic growth.

2) President Obama saved the American auto industry. GM has successfully paid off its loan and is now back on its feet.

3) He is the first President since Richard Nixon to successfully achieve major health care reform, and seniors today pay 50% less on prescriptions than they did 2 years ago.

4) He successfully ended DADT, and ushered in a new era for the armed services, much like President Truman did when he integrated the troops.

5) He hunted down and killed Osama bin Laden, perhaps America's biggest threat since World War 2.

6) He responsibly ended the worst military blunder in this century, the 9 year Iraq War, and brought the troops home as he promised in a dignified manner.

Once again Karl, you’ve been exposed as a lying mudslinger... so stop running deceptive ads on behalf of your 1% corporate buddies.
