President Donald Trump bragged about his Trump Tower hotel in New York City as he began speaking to members of the United Nations on Monday.

Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, had said in her speech introducing Trump that she saw “great potential” in the United Nations.

“Thank you very much. Thank you. I actually saw great potential right across the street to be honest with you,” the president said.

“And it was only for the reason that the United Nations was that that turned out to be such a successful project,” Trump added. “So, I want to thank you, Ambassador Haley for your introduction and your steadfast advocacy for American interests on the world stage.”
