1. How ironic is it that president moron stands

on stage calling someone a traitor. I can only hope he gets the same treatment he advocated for Bergdahl.

2. His side of the story needs to be heard too.

I've always thought that if he had gone over to the Taliban then why did they treat him badly? It doesn't make sense.

He made a horrible mistake, to which he's pleaded guilty. I'm torn about this whole thing. He did endanger the other soldiers. Evidently some were badly wounded looking for him. But motivation always means something.

3. "Looking for Bergdahl" is some kind of causality in a war zone?

It's just another mission in Afghanistan, one I'd consider super-legitimate.

5 years in captivity? Mission failed!

What do they do the rest of the time? Duck mortar rounds and snipers, run around "accidentally" finding IED's?

This is one of the most politicized trials we have ever seen, takes me back to My Lai days.
