But I think he’s right. Funny, my husband asked me if Jews were considered white. Yeah, when we’re not considered dirty and needed in the count.

2. It's a valid point that every immigrant group has been seen, at least temporarily, as non-white.

The racism of whiteness has been a taboo subject with whites, except when they validate it together in "safe" spaces.
