The other 3 estimates didn't mean shit. Cheeto was pulling numbers out of his ass.
But they calculated all the materials, labor, payoffs and bribes, now the numbers are real. (Almost!)

My prediction - Trump will be gone before this stupid useless wall ever happens.

History has shown that 'Walls' don't really work...the great wall of china, the wall erected between France and Germany after WWI so another 'Great War' wouldn't happen again (it did anyway), the Berlin Wall, etc. If anything, they bring a level of awareness that overwhelms the entire purpose of the wall to begin with...

If they are so gung-ho then they can jump in their pick-ups and private jets and start building. Oh, bring the mortar and bricks since Mexico won't be paying for them. You'll earn your moniker of red-necks.

How to Build Trump’s Wall - Privatize It

Republicans have often found a way to tax people surreptitiously by privatizing many public works projects to corporations rather than have gov’t pay for it. A fee is a tax under another name.

The corporations/investors are granted a multi-year license with a guaranteed profit.

This could also be done with Trump’s Wall with Mexico.

Corporations/investors front the money to build it and they will be paid by Mexico.

It gives republicans a chance to save the gov’t money by investing in it and show their confidence in Trump’s word that Mexico will pay for it .

No gov’t backed bonds.

No cost to the gov’t,,, no need for taxes,,, profit for the patriotic investors who believe in Trump.

Win win all around.

Even Trump can show his patriotism and shrewd business savvy by investing in it.
