It needs to be seen. I agree. She needs to be contacted about running for political office.

7. I wish the cameraman had followed a little more closely.

It would help her to have every second on tape. That guy was accusing her of resisting arrest. I hope they see enough to not take his word for it.

9. Well, I watched it for 5 mins. No arrest. She asked her question w/no problems.

(Or rather, she stated her position.) So something else must happened. If you can direct to the part of the video where she gets arrested, that would be helpful.

I didn't think anyone would be arrested for asking a question. Maybe she argued or protested after the vote?

11. It's not really a question. She's arguing about a vote that already took place.

Sad as it is, that's out of line for the meeting. The vote was already taken.

She wasn't arrested. She was booted out of the room for not following the rules. All mtgs have rules.

But all those women sitting there....presumably teachers....need to get together and vote all those SOBs out of their jobs, if those are elected jobs, which that young woman said they were.

This is Louisiana, BTW. No raises and such for the masses maybe because La. is in dire financial straits, after having cut corporate taxes by 80% under Gov Jindal. Sales taxes have gone thru the roof (one parish has the highest sales tax in the nation).

12. She was handcuffed and put in a police squad car.

I assume that was because she was arrested.

But your point is taken, it was more of a complaint/concern than a question. However, she was removed in under a minute after being recognized by the board to speak (her hand was up). Perhaps there is some more acceptable time frame before someone is removed by a security guard and subsequently arrested.

13. Oh, I didn't know about the cuffs.

That's unusual....I'm guessing she did or said something when they tried to remove her. She wouldn't leave, maybe?
