to look busy or somehow important. Ego kills productivity and a positive work environment.

These people like watching car crashes etc when it doesn't involve them
They see it as entertainment

I see that more and more in trump supporters - the ones that are not in total poverty, but not well off.
The ones in total poverty are bitter and trying to survive, lashing out at anything.
The ones I'm talking about construct this fantasy world where they are the king and everyone else is weak and stupid.

They like seeing things burn.
They like seeing "other" people react.

It distracts them from their position and lets them pretend they are powerful

It's his "management style". Never forget, 6 bankruptcies and credit so bad he couldn't get a loan from a US bank.

much of what the PM was saying. Looked like he desperately wanted to open his mouth and contradict the man but somehow managed to keep his ignorant pie-hole shut.

One would think an environment of harmony and respect would beget unity. If you want non-productive division, sow all the conflict you can. One would think, anyway.

We have too much diversity. We must work to bring people together, not to divide them with conflict and confusion. It is not normal and it is not healthy.
