The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act designates March 29 as National Vietnam War Veteran's Day

The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act designates March 29 of each year as National Vietnam War Veterans Day, an opportunity for all Americans to recognize, honor, and thank our Vietnam Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice during one of the longest wars in our country’s history.

tells me all I need to know about this country's opinion of me and my fellow Vietnam veterans. Their recognition, honor, and thanks are right up there with thoughts and prayers.

Like we all said in Nam. "It don't mean nothin" . If people want to thank us then support the V A and keep it the way it is. Personally when people thank me for my service I don't say your welcome. I say it was a long time ago.
