I had the TV on in the background, when the SHS press conference started. Without turning to see the video, the sound of her voice sounded ugly and coarse to me. My first thought was, thank goodness, she's not trying to sing. That would be unbearable. I find it ironic that Trump selects a coarse person to represent his vulgar presidency.

I ended up turning off the TV sound and turning on my Bose stereo, which is tuned to my local classical FM station (WRR). A Mozart violin concerto was playing. Ever so much better. Grace beats coarse every time.

We've known that since the mid 1980s, when right wing 'think tanks' started accusing reporters of being (*ghasp*) 'LIBERALS,' with a 'liberal bias.' And to show just how cowardly they were, the press actually started pulling their punches on Republicans, and increasing their punches on Democrats to, supposedly, prove that they're NOT biased. In fact, all it proved was that they were vulnerable to that kind of criticism; and 'conservatives' continued to INCREASE it, rather than decrease it.

I've never seen such a bunch of spineless chickenshits in my entire life. During the 2016 election, Trump had TWO DOZEN scandals going on, and every time any one of them was mentioned, the press felt compelled to add..."but Hillary Clinton's EMAILS" at the end of it, to preserve their illusion about being 'unbiased.' In their puny minds, 'unbiased' and 'false equivalence' are the same.

And their cowardice has brought us to THIS POINT. Where the President is actually calling for reporters to be PUT IN JAIL or BEATEN UP for criticizing him. And the press has NOBODY TO BLAME for this except THEMSELVES.

Blame him for both contributing to it and modeling it as acceptable behavior and thus increasing it yes.
