Neither man is much loved in NY because they are self-promoting grifters. New Yorkers are smart enough to call them out.

have known these two men a lot longer than the rest of the world, much like people in New Jersey know what an asshole Chris Christie is.

Guliani, the NYC mayor who killed all small businesses in Manhattan and made NYC a giant shopping mall. Yes, New Yorker's don't like him!

Even with the cops in each section, Ghouliani wouldn't dare go near the bleacher creatures!

Now, if they just had another starting pitcher...

26. Repudiation of "America's Mayor".

Giuliani sold his soul a looooong time ago when he was a federal prosecutor. He was given leeway when mayor because he was the "antidote" for the NYC's first African-American mayor. (I see a parallel . . . . ) Plus, everyone was afraid of him when he was the mayor.

He was unjustly elevated to "America's Mayor" when 9-11 happened. He was doing what had to be done, nothing extraordinary. (If memory serves, on 9-11, he grabbed the sleeve of Police Commissioner, Bernard Kerik, and exclaimed "Thank God George Bush is our President." )

Now he's just a private citizen and is a target for criticism, ridicule, and contempt.
