2. I think this is the whole interview - I watched the show

His monologue was particularly long tonight, he had so much material - and he did have two other guests. But I agree, Lawrence was the guest I wanted to see.

3. No offense, you watched 'the show' ... but you weren't 'there' ;)

There were a number of pretty obvious edits in the video, I suspect they talked for considerably longer than what we both saw (there's no time limit on the actual, in-theater show, iow), but regardless, my main point was ... I'd love to hear to them talk for much longer, period

4. That's true - and sometimes they'll offer a "full" interview, like they did with Michael Moore

And this was the guest I wanted to see, as well. After the monologue and this follow up, any other discussion about some TV show or movie seems almost pointless.

Hopefully we'll get a 'full interview' clip someday ... believe we can certainly concur on that

6. If it's a particularly high profile guest, that's when they offer the "full" interview

And the last one I remember was Michael Moore. I don't necessarily notice what's left out, but I was particularly glad to see he had Lawrence on tonight, the timing was perfect!

But there was definitely some pretty hard 'cuts', along w/some 'moving things along' by Stephen ... kinda bummed me out just cause I wanted to hear more. Take what we can get in this life though, eh?

8. I don't know why they'd want to edit this interview, but I don't doubt they did

But if they do decide to upload an "expanded" interview, I'll post it. Sometimes they'll wait till the next day. I've done this long enough that I've learned when to expect things.

Bringing out of the book by Stephen while LoD was like mid-sentence, and then the 'Hey Lawrence it's great to have you here!' both just seemed pretty rushed ... that's what made me feel like we're 'missing stuff' ... but really I think it's that I didn't want it to be over that quick

10. It's possible the interview ran over and Stephen was urged to wrap it up

He also probably would have been happy to spend the whole show talking with Lawrence.
