and with his own band. Both times in large clubs that held about 800 people. Absolutely one of the greatest guitarists alive. Back in the 80s Guitar Player magazines had to make him ineligible for their reader's survey for best guitarist. The reason was he had won it for five years straight.

Both times when I saw him it seemed like every guitar player in the area who didn't have a gig that night was in the audience.

great groove. I can imagine myself with a few beers in me and dancing to this. however, there's a bit of a show off quality to the music and the composition seems like a series of riffs strung together and then jammed on for a minute before switching to the next riff. They make it flow nicely and they are so tight together on the hits and transitions.

Furthermore, morse in NOT underrated by guitar players. His talents are highly lauded in just about every guitar magazine on a monthly basis.

WHere the song "Ice Cakes" is from, was revealed to me by my fraternity Big Brother some 39 years ago. I had just got 2nd row tix to see TOTO on their first record tour, and the Dregs were opening. Had never heard of the Dregs.
We went to the show, and I was blown away. Left about halfway through TOTO's set.....
THis links the album in order and in full:
