In a succession of exceptional shows! Colbert was as sharp as ever, got in some real zingers, it was very cool that both he and Jon had personal experience with the great Aretha Franklin - and I just love "Melania," she's always spot on!

Some mornings I just have to turn off the news and watch these instead. You're doing a public service for your fellow DUers.

There are days that I just can't take the news, it's just too much for me, too. And that's exactly why I started posting the late night comedians who have been doing a stellar job keeping up with the news and managing to ridicule what's going on - with humor. They help keep me sane and I figured that we need all the humor we can get these days, so I'm just paying it forward. Stephen Colbert is a national treasure and must-see-TV for those of us on DU!

I don't know what we'll do without him, he said they're going on vacation for two weeks. And it looks like the other late night shows are going to be in repeats next week too.
