My first thought was posting it as an OP, but it was an obvious followup to one of his lead stories. Made me smile, too.

to get going at first until you did it enough to bruise the grass to brown, then you would be flying down the hill.

When he was telling it, I could picture the kids. We spent a lot of time outside and we found treasures too.

At least on segments that aren't a part of the show. He really seems to "get" American politics, despite having only been here since 2011. But the ones I like best are the reminiscences about his childhood in South Africa. He had an unusual childhood and his stories are fascinating.
