who regard Sullenberger as a real hero. I wonder if they are so Trumpified that they'll reject him on account of this, or will they actually pay attention to what he said?

13. the cult bubble is tough to pierce

There is hope that Sullenberger's words, along with others who are speaking out, will pull some people back from that cult before they are completely swallowed by it. Nothing will pierce that cult bubble for many people.

I can tell what Fox and hate radio are talking about without ever seeing or hearing those outlets, just by conversations with my neighbors. Everything appears normal then all of a sudden a different look comes over their face and they spout something off-the-wall anti-factual. Forget mass hysteria; this is mass schizophrenia or mass bipolarization or mass body snatcher territory.
