removed from the election process. I have no positive way to know which party that woman represents, but I have my suspicions.

And we were besieged where I went to vote, there were lines going out the door, but he took the time. I always greet that poll worker, he has a D on his badge.

We will print directions from the polling place you are in to the one you need to go to. If you are in the wrong county, we will look it up on our phones. We had one guy that was 30 miles as the crow flies from where he needed to go. Closer to 50 by roads because the Mississippi river complicates the route. Couple years ago, we had to direct a person to Duluth, 120 miles away.

The iPad based Pollbooks are new and so much faster than loose leaf printed binders that the lines were people with ballots waiting for an election booth rather than to check in. We had a table for people who would not be able to stand at a booth, and wound up setting up three more to facilitate those willing to work at a table rather than a booth.

We did have an issue right away in the morning that held us up for about 10 minutes, but we had 116 votes counted by the time the first hour was up. At peak pace, we had maybe 3 ballots a minute going into the tabulator.

It is perceived that older election judges have issues with the Pollbooks and we need to recruit younger judges. The oldest in our precinct was the slowest, but the second slowest was the youngest. We were working at a very fast pace and I was happy to tag out at times to give my brain a chance to catch up.

Working long days is no excuse. It's an excuse for some things, but not that. There was a time that I worked 12+ hours a day for extended periods of time...you do get stressed out and emotional. But yelling at people? No one yelled at anyone. That's unacceptable.
