It pissed me off that asses like this have made it impossible for people in real pain to get painkillers, even for a few days after a serious injury. I have heard the same from tons of people who are not addicts and only take aspirin, but when they need painkillers they are told to suffer now. My 74 year old neighbor and 84 year old dad come to mind.

That seems light. Maybe because the drugs were somewhat legal?

I mean there were kids who got life in prison for LSD.
