Wow! While following a curiosity streak this evening after watching a video of "Alice's Restaurant" posted by DU member BigmanPigman, I discovered this video. The words are written by the late Woodie Guthrie who, it turns out, lived in one of Fred Trump's apartment developments, named Beach Haven, in NYC for two years. It's an interesting story that most people likely never heard. Thought I'd share it.

Note the "This machine still kills fascists" in the video on the guitar. Woodie Guthrie, during WWII had on his guitar "This machine kills fascists."
