that part of her agreement to cooperate will be a promise of her entering into the Witness Protection Program and remaining in the U.S. after whatever prison sentence she gets. They may let her go with time already served. If she was made to return to Russia her life wouldn't be worth a Trump inauguration commemorative medallion. Russian spies aren't supposed to talk at all, and even then their futures aren't certain upon returning to "Mother Russia". Unless she has a death wish, I believe asylum must be part of her deal.
