but I'm not seeing any. Same-sex marriage somehow leads to polygamy and heterosexual marriage doesn't? I'm almost surprised he didn't bring up bestiality.

3. "What about three men?"

I know three men (Santorum, Romney, and Gingrich) participating in a clusterfuck right now, and it isn't pretty.

Man on dog, dog on car, and horn-dog need to pack up their ever shrinking tent because the circus is becoming quite old here in flyover country.

4. Marriage is a blessed union. It can mean anything and does mean many things in the bible.

Santorum and his ilk are not meant to lead a nation they have narrow views which are divisive and not wise. Good leaders especially of democracies must have a strong grasp of common understanding of individual creeds, lifestyles, religions, cultures and sexual orientations and must be be respectful of everyone's civil rights. Society has it's mores and that is left to culture not the state. If we are to remain free to determine our own spiritual and personal beliefs, and others are not harmed in the process, we must keep separate church and state.

5. I was just now looking on YouTube for ...

the video from today, from Cenk's show on Current, where Cenk says Santorum wants to bring Sharia law to The USA, but I couldn't find that one

I'm guessing that part was after the part in the video in the OP.

6. He said one thing here that I don't think has been adequately explored (today):

The good to society, he argued, was "giving every child in America their birthright, which is being raised by their own mother and father. So we want to encourage what is the best for children."

Thus, it would seem he should also be opposed to elderly or barren couples being married as well. What's the point of them getting married if marriage is for procreation?

And BTW, the penalty for 500 wives is 500 mothers-in-law.
