Yes, the Electoral College absolutely disenfranchises voters.

When I lived in Kansas I used to say there was no point in voting for the President because there was absolutely no way a Democrat was going to win in that state. Still, I voted.

Now that I live in New Mexico, there is probably also no point in voting for the President because the Democrat will absolutely win.

I've been complaining about this ever since I started voting, and I'm so old I had to be 21 to vote my first time. Eliminating the Electoral College would mean that candidates would actually have to campaign in more states. Gosh! What a hardship.

The Electoral College must go, it serves no purpose, it is set there to promote cheating.

The electoral college is such a scam that communist Hugo Chavez adopted it in Venezuela so that he could cheat much easier. maduro lost the popular vote when he run against Enrique Capriles, but the cheating put maduro on the chair, again, thanks to the regime having adopted the EC formula. They also cheating on the popular vote, they could not justify the numbers but in a dictatorship you don't have much leverage.

All the ads saying "Vote in the next election, your vote counts." is not true, our votes do not count and twice it has been proven, if it did, both times the EC would have respected the will of the people and both Al Gore and Hillary Clinton would have been elected.

The EC is a scam, nothing else, no wonder repubs don't want to get rid of it but Democrats do.
