'The government should be run like a business' is a canard from the days of Nixon. If so, we'd jettison a lot of RED states who don't carry their share of the load from the Treasury, the 'freeloader' states. They ended up using all the so-called 'liberal' arguments as to why they should still get help from other states 'to move forward.' Good way to show them that government should be run for the benefit of people, not money.
