Rachel and Mayor Pete Make Television History

The idea that knowing a candidate helps swing votes toward him/her is one great outcome of Rachel's television journalism.

Touching.

3. Pete Buttigieg on Coming Out As Gay

I have been a fan of Rachel Maddow since her Air America Radio Days. But last night was the best interview she had given. But what I loved most about the interview was Rachel telling her side of the story. Then I sat there and thought this is really happening on national tv. How far we have come. But to hear them talk about being Rhode Scholars was truly awesome. Every time I hear him talk he impresses me more and more. He is really smart.

4. Right? I was thinking all the same things. A year ago we could never have imagined this on TV!

5. That came across to me as being very heartfelt and sincere

It goes a long way in explaining Pete's appeal.

6. Just think how crazy it would make the trumpsters if Pete won!

Be freakin' hilarious and the rescue of millions of Americans too. Hell, many of those saved would be trumpers as well but don't expect them to be grateful or even realize it in many cases.

I think there are maybe a half dozen Dems who could beat Trump. Health care will be a huge issue and the GOP has nothing but excuses and even the average idiots are getting wise.

7. 1. His military service background is a real plus to trumpers. 2. He's from a red state, too.

9. The military background gives him real cred.

Draft dodgers like Trump are going to have to tip-toe a little more carefully around that issue this coming election. Lots of southerners who voted for Trump last time have sons and daughters in the military and ain't real happy with him.

8. It was interesting.

It also shows the diversity and complexity in coming out among the gay community. I also found her comments to O'Donnell, as they were switching shows, to be very educational as well, especially about living in the closet.
