10. First of all I think using Rmoneys own words was perfect and I think it will be effective.

Now check out the video 0:56 when he says "when you need someone to do the really big stuff we need an American" to get the job done or something to that effect...Then he went on to say 'I'm an American" (the Colbert line).
Don't think this was by accident

Now that the RNC is over, the conversation needs to return to demanding Mitt to release his COMPLETE tax returns from at least the last 10 years.

You know damned well he's stonewalling on this because it would shine so much light on how unfair (to the point of being immoral) the tax code has been stacked in favor of the Romneys of this world to the detriment of the middle class. And it would open the eyes of a lot of people who would lean toward voting for Romney.

3. I fail to see how giving Romney face time helps Democrats.

I think the Obama/Biden 2012 campaign would be much better off with Obama/Biden pitching their accomplishments and goals personally. I don't care for this ad and think it's self-defeating.

They believe that the more people see of Romney, the less they like him.. And I agree with them, because he lacks substance, he offers no specifics, and he lies.

The purpose of this one is to show Romney as an empty suit who has never accomplished anything of worth to the general public(except his health care program, which doesn't fit here). Those shots of Romney with his trademark vacuous smile, in combination with the narration, will give independent voters something to think about.

And sticking in that code word that Obama is foreign to show his extremist side was clever.

6400/52.1775 = 122.65 per week
122.65/7 = 17.52 per day
I think our seniors and citizenry would feel the impact more if they knew that if the policies were enacted today
they would owe $17.52 per day just for existing.

I think normally when you show your opponent in your own ad, it's when they've said something damning, or when they've been caught in a lie, but in this ad it is just Mitt saying empty things.
