1. math. comes down to simple math

usually the higher the number the better. (Stock market) the main problem is Public sector jobs. there will be no recovery until we stop firing public sector jobs. For every public sector job that is eliminated. that person has to go look for either another public sector job or private. making it even harder for private sector jobs to be found. That doesn't even need to be in algebra...

2. Yesterday I spoke at some length with a group of about 5 young voters including three first-time

voters. One couple had two sons 3 and 2. Four were pro-Obama and one was independent.

They asked me who else was running. That's how much or little they had been following the race.

But there was no doubt in their minds about one thing. They knew that Obama faced a mess when he came into office;
They knew that Bush was to blame for it, and they knew that Bush started two wars, and Obama hasn't started any.

One of them had a cousin in Afghanistan and was worried about that.

I don't think the Republicans are going to be able to blur the outline of the truth on those fundamental facts. And those are the facts that people will vote on.
