Trump's FAVORITE part of Dayton trip was "respect for the office of the presidency."

(45,427 posts)"Obama's coming to get your guns!" doesn't work as well when it's Trump in office. So they tease us with talk of red flag laws and background checks that will never pass the Republican Senate.

(243 posts)I could hate him any more than I already do. While the doctor is talking, you can see his tiny little brain wheel thinking about how he looks and trying to look interested and trying to think of something to say when it's his turn to talk. And then he just spouts gibberish and repeats the few words he knows. GAH!!!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_triad
In psychology, the dark triad refers to the personality traits of narcissism, machiavellianism, and psychopathy.[1][2][3][4] They are called "dark" because of their malevolent qualities.[5][1][6][7]
Research on the dark triad is used in applied psychology, especially within the fields of law enforcement, clinical psychology, and business management. People scoring high on these traits are more likely to commit crimes, cause social distress and create severe problems for an organization, especially if they are in leadership positions (for more information, see psychopathy, narcissism, and Machiavellianism in the workplace). They also tend to be less compassionate, agreeable, empathetic, satisfied with their lives, and likely to believe they and others are good.[8]
All three dark triad traits are conceptually distinct although empirical evidence shows them to be overlapping. They are associated with a callous-manipulative interpersonal style.[9]
Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.[10]
Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, an absence of morality, and a higher level of self interest.[11]
Psychopathy is characterized by continuous antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callous and unemotional traits (CU),[12] and remorselessness.[13]
A factor analysis carried out at the Glasgow Caledonian University found that among the big five personality traits, low agreeableness is the strongest correlate of the dark triad, while neuroticism and a lack of conscientiousness were associated with some of the dark triad members.[11]

(1,402 posts)What a picture to show djt's right wing fruitcakes, he can say, "see what I did for you guys, I got rid of a lot of them" - that is exactly what these sicko's want djt to do. He will use these photo ops for propoganda to get re-elected. After Dayton and El Paso asked him not to come and he went anyway for a photo op!!! This can be the only reason he went because he wants to be reelected.

There is nothing genuine about him and his manner suggests he could have been attending a hospital fundraiser instead of the aftermath of a traumatic event.

(5,378 posts)We all have an innate and somewhat abstract respect for authority. Basically, it pays to be polite and go along.
But you can respect the office, and hate the office holder.
The respect for the person holding that office has to be earned. Donnie just isn't earning it, just the opposite.
Just had another look at the pictures, painful as that was.
Donnie seems to be uncomfortable, the smile is more a grimace. Jet lag or just him saying to himself 'Sick people! OMG! OMG! Hope I don't catch anything!'
Is there a distinct absence of security in the pictures? Were those close to Trump vetted and frisked before going near him?
