Jon Stewart Mocks Democrats’ Idolization Of ‘Mythical,’ Superhero Obama

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/jon-stewart-mocks-democrats-idolization-of-mythical-superhero-obama/

On Wednesday night, Jon Stewart revisited the second night of the Democratic National Convention, first noting some similarities between Democrats and Republicans when it comes to touting values, and then going on to mock some of the over-the-top admiration expressed for President Barack Obama. -snip-

p.s. Somewhere after the 3:30 minute mark Stewart makes a hilarious joke about the Castro twins!

I think that it goes to highlight just how ridiculous the whole political process has become.

Jon has to make fun of it, but imo there wasn't much that was ridiculous. The praise wasn't really over-the-top, it was just the normal praise for the nominee. But if I know Joe Biden, I think we might be hearing some over-the-top tonight.

he's not as immune to false equivalence as he thinks he is. He's still brilliant and insightful at exposing Republican lies and corruption but then he feels like he has to balance it with some lame, cheap cracks at Democrats.

because, to listen to MSM, Obama is everything from Stalin to Satan. I think Stewart might have done an alternate slant on this one. Stewart made a totally different ballgame- just the difference in the delegates said so much- sound the same as the RNC. I would have gone for delegates fainting from cheering, oxygen depletion... (IMHO)
