*High Praise For New Dystopian Climate Change Campaign Video By A Romanoff (D-CO)

- Narrated by Romanoff. '4-minute Andrew Romanoff campaign ad shows climate change apocalypse: “What I miss most is the sunshine.” Video blames “tired politicians” and status quo for climate disasters. The Denver Post, Dec. 16, 2019.

U.S. Senate Democratic candidate Andrew Romanoff’s first campaign video, released Monday, is a dramatic portrayal of a climate emergency “in the not so distant future.” Romanoff, a former Colorado House speaker, is trying to unseat Republican U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner, but first he needs to get past former Gov. John Hickenlooper and others in the Democratic primary.
The 4-minute, 16-second apocalyptic video had more than 140,000 views across social media as of Monday afternoon, according to his campaign. “Home,” produced by WIN Digital Media, begins in Colorado Springs with a young girl saying, “what I miss most is the sunshine,” as she and her family are confined in a bunker, avoiding a 127-degree temperature and poor air quality.

This place makes me sad,” she said. “But it makes mommy sadder. Mommy says baby brother will be born soon, but that it’s not safe for him or for me.” "What I miss most is the sunshine."

The #ClimateCrisis poses a threat unlike any in human history. It’s a catastrophe of our own creation—but it doesn’t have to end this way. We can choose a different path. Watch & share our new video: pic.twitter.com/km7iYxLmUC — Andrew Romanoff (@Romanoff2020) December 16, 2019

In the video, narrator Romanoff says the view is not a far-off future. “This is the clear and present danger to life on earth, a catastrophe of our own creation, a climate crisis that condemns our children to an ever-hotter planet, their only home ravaged by storms, floods, droughts and heat waves, wildfires, disasters that force millions of families to flee,” he said...https://www.denverpost.com/2019/12/16/andrew-romanoff-climate-change-senate-gardner/

I'm glad he's running for statewide office. I hope he beats Hick, though either are better than Gardner, of course.

I only wish I could vote for him, but I've moved to Iowa, and I'll be voting for Joni's opponent instead.

He served in the General Assembly and was Speaker of the House for a few years in the late 2000s.

He's originally from the East, and he went to Ivy League schools for his undergraduate and law degrees, settling in Colorado after that.

He always agreed to speak to classes at both high schools and universities in Colorado. Just a pleasant, progressive Democrat who also can also fight when needed.

As I wrote earlier, if I still live in Colorado (retired after 27 years in public education there), I'd pick him in an instant over Hickenlooper.

good work in college and then government. > 'Just a pleasant, progressive Democrat who also can also fight when needed.' Definitely! So why isn't he running for Prez? No offense to the great Dem. candidates.

Years ago I first travelled to Boulder for a summer wedding in the mountains, wonderful. Also attended a work conference at the Broadmoor in Colo. Springs. On the way to Santa Fe went through Denver airport many times.

And I'm REALLY PISSED that so many, including the CO state dems are backing Hicken-fucking-looper. We NEED Romanoff in the Senate!

open grow weed, co.
open grow shrooms.

give farmers free hemp seed, for cbd and fiber. find the old machines that have gone out of favor as big ag took over, upgrades them w tech, and patent them out. give some seed money.

allow rural communities to float bonds to turn cafos into power plants. for $12M, amana, ia gets all it's electricity from an anaerobic digester system on ONE DAIRY FARM. ONE. dairy, not even pigs.
all of rural america could combine their wind and poo power w no peaker plants.

and dont even get me started about what a win, win, win it is to build new soil.

all the above turn pennies into dollars.
when someone goes there, i leave my farm and family behind to campaign for that person.

You need something for the recovering magats to chew on. Make them think they see dollar signs first is the hack for them to get over the cognitive dissonance.
