Lesbos migrant camp children 'say they want to die'

An increasing number of children are self-harming and attempting suicide in the Greek migrant camp on Lesbos, according to psychologists working there.

Almost 18,000 people are currently living in the camp which was built for just 2,000.

There has been a spike in refugees arriving on the Aegean islands in recent months, many of them are families who are fleeing war.

I wish we could take them in, but you know that evil MF45 would never allow that to happen. These children need help and we are more than able to provide it.

I have a friend, a doctor who has been there more than once. She may be there now, I can't imagine how horrible it is. This country has a really big problem with compassion and empathy when it comes to these things. Shit, look at our or concentration camps! We have to do better.

This type of cruelty should not be allowed in any civil society.
