(5,927 posts)That is the most amazing thing I've seen in a loooooong time...
Dig the krazy late 70's styles, I remember them well. Aiiieeeee. But Jenny was HAWT, there's no ignoring it. And the brightness showed through way back when she was 19 (oh my nerves)
Thanks so much for posting this. What fun! Sure glad she got the hair modernized later. I voted for her twice, wish I could again.
I knew it was going to be number 2. Has anybody seen the Cheech&Chong takeoff on the dating game? One of the funniest things I have ever seen. No kidding.
With all due respect to Joy Behar, I'm bummed that Current moved Jenny's show back an hour. I think she's great.

Gotta love Harlan.
And Ms. Granholm was sah-MO-kin hot back in the day. She was still hot when I knew her in law school. She was the editor in chief of the journal I worked on as a first year. Very nice, too.

(12,471 posts)It's been a while since I read "The Glass Teat." It's a classic.
Yeah Jen Grandholm is still smokin hot for her age.
And Harlan is still Harlan.
Some things just never change.

(33,688 posts)and stalked out as I remember his account of it. So that gem didn't make it to the teevee machine.
I used to manage an SF bookstore. The owner was a friend of Harlan's and he came in for signings a couple of times. He is not someone you mouth off to or let catch you napping. If he decides you're smart (I was lucky and he decided I was) he's a very engaging and entertaining man. But he is one of the last people in the world I would want pissed off at me.

(12,471 posts)I have had a run in with him on his little BBS that someone runs for him. He gets on now and again, and a few gems spew out, but not a lot. No substitute for meeting someone in person. And he's one person who if I met in person, I might piss off, but I would do it as a person, in person just to make him think about what I said to piss him off.
