Not meant to take anything away from their awesome gesture, just wishing we could help first responders more. Morale is important too.

It’s always thrilling on a fundamental level to see the display of the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds. That being said for the four seconds of excitement which we experience I would gladly trade for some subvention of PPE to the poor and to healthcare professionals, who are lacking in sufficient numbers of uniforms and maSka and hairnets.

procured from our allies overseas, mostly in Asia. here's one link about it https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/02/medical-cargo-coronavirus-162486

The Comfort is headed back to it's home port at Norfolk because NYC feels their hospital utilization is at manageable levels now.

Jets exist
Pilots get paid

I'm curious about the millions and millions in costs DUers keep mentioning. I suppose if you compare it to your grocery bill vs the stimulus bill. Those of us who live near airports and cities may have noticed fewer planes flying in general these days.

At least Italy used their flag's colors and played opera music with a single rogue jet symbolizing the virus as an enemy
