that the initial roll-over in the curve was not caused by a decrease in the rate of new cases, but rather by a restriction in testing, as evidenced by the sudden flat-top, which cannot happen in a natural evolution of an exponential growth function.

Trump reminds me of the politician who ignores the shark warning when Jaws hits the beach...taking out swimmers.. The shark is the COVID 19 and the Mayor is Trump, only this is for the entire country... And people gleefully go about without a mask because they believe the pandemic is either over, or never existed in the first place.

White House issues memo requiring staff to wear masks in West Wing, CNBC, 5/11/20
... The directive from the White House management office was laid out in a memo to staffers Monday afternoon, NBC reported. ... The memo also asked staff members to avoid visiting the West Wing, where the Oval Office is located, unless it is necessary, the sources told NBC.

Something to keep in mind when some fuckhead harasses you about wearing a mask -- if they're so ineffective or the Covid19 is just a hoax, or if only wimps wear them, then why does your fearless leader require everyone near him to wear a mask? Why is he wimpifying his staff?

Scroll down to the Daily New Cases. Then click the checkbox after "7 day moving average" below the graph. Yes, quite an up-turn.

(One can see other stats there too like active cases and deaths, and also see a table of the key stats for the 50 states)

since Washington won't do it it falls to the states
we must contain this virus and end it
doing nothing as dump is doing will not work the graphs are trending up
we should be testing 2 to 3 million people a DAY
IT IS TIME TO GET TO WORK
