(57,936 posts)No way.
There are two ways that a Congressman or president can corrupt his office or administration.
The first is to give lobbyists lots of access. Obama has sincerely tried not to do that.
The second is to simply hire former CEOs of companies bypassing the whole lobbyist song and dance. This is the sneakier of the two methods. Bush did it with Henry Paulson. Clinton did it before him. There is nothing original about doing it.
It would really be great if we could have a truly corporate-free administration -- and Andrew Jackson people's administration.

(17,301 posts)supports conservative congress members and their legislation. He may not be a crazy RepubliCON like we have today but he clearly loves corporations and think We the People are too stupid to be allowed true democracy.
His campaign in 2008 was all talk.

(24,394 posts)Since you obviously know for a fact that this guy, who has been serving the Administration for awhile now as OMB Director, committed crimes and is running around scot-free.

(13,532 posts)Cenk didn't accuse Lew of crimes, if you watch the video and read the source article it's about how yet another Wall Street clown is in the White House.
Reuters reported on how this administration is NOT prosecuting crimes in the financial industry - why? Maybe it's at least in part because Wall Street clowns are continually appointed to critical positions in the administration.
I assume you read the Reuters report and or watched the video I'm referring to (or you will before you respond again).

(1,416 posts)You Obamabots are defending this clown that lost about $ 40 billion in wild speculation and then he testifies to Congress that deregulation had nothing to do with the wild speculation, that lead to the financial melt down?
