This is not just a battle for the soul of America, it is also for our collective sanity as a country.

Of course, easily manipulable people who can be lead around by their fears and delusions is one way that the Republicans can win. Critical thinking, reasoning, etc., are not useful to their insubstantial propaganda. Believers believe.
