Watch Paul Ryan get booed repeatedly at the AARP

RYAN GETS BOOED AT THE AARP | On Friday afternoon, Paul Ryan addressed the AARP’s National Annual Conference in New Orleans. The GOP vice presidential candidate attacked Obamacare for taking $716 billion out of Medicare — the very same cuts he included in his budget — and made the case for transforming seniors’ health care from a guaranteed benefit into a premium support “voucher” program. The address didn’t go over well. One man called Ryan a “liar” and the audience repeatedly booed his critique of President Obama and health reform. Watch it:

This in no way is meant to demean actual ShamWow salespeople.

Every time RnR open their mouths, it's a gift to President Obama and Democratic candidates all across America! Thanks so much for posting this! It's so beautiful...

Oh, my favorite part is when he said he knew there would be mixed reactions..all that booing sounded pretty much unanimous to me.

They didn't even fall for the $716 billion lie.

I have to give Rob Zerban some more money so this guy can't even go back to the House.

....where people were taught to have respect and be polite to others while they are expressing themselves in public. Therefore, it was amazing to me to be a witness to the extent that his audience felt free to ridicule and demean him as he tried to speak to them. And along with that, his seemingly innocuous reaction to their displeasure in his message reminded me of "The Emperor's Clothes" fable.

It could have easily have been an episode of Gronty Mython and the Holy Pail.

To top it off, the $716 billion is going towards closing the donut hole on prescription drugs and everyone in that room knows it.

They also know Ryan wants to eliminate Medicare. Not save it.
