My mother is in a nursing home and she tested positive today. My father is negative though and they are in the same room. Off to the isolation unit for both of them. This is the second time in the last couple weeks my mom is positive and dad negative. The last time, they tested them two more times after the first positive and they were negative. My mom has a little cough like last time, but again like last time, good oxygen level, no fever, no breathing problems, good appetite. Very strange I think. I asked if they were using those quick tests (I don’t trust those) and I was told no.
I have an uncle in another state in an assisted living place that has had Covid with some of the symptoms and they refused to test my aunt who is with him of course, because she had no symptoms. My uncle is getting better thankfully-he’s in his 90’s. They finally tested my aunt. Now we are just waiting to hear about her results. Their daughter is a retired nurse from the county they live in and I have a feeling she got on to them for not testing her mom.
Please keep my parents and uncle and aunt in your thoughts.
