I dropped my big fancy cable package once my 12 mo. "special rate"
expired, so don't get HBO anymore.

Once my "special introductory rate" expired, I kept only the minimalist "package"
which includes the big three, public TV, C-Spans, and a local FOX affiliate (which
is often to the left of M$M locals, and I get all that for $13.50 a mo., which is all
the TeeVee I ever really need, if you can call it that.

Certainly better than paying, like you say, $95 or so, just to get HBO and the Comedy
Channel really, along with a bizzilion random stations like Current (which would be
cool actually), the latest fashions, stupid movie channels, etc.

I did live for years without TV, but backslid a few years ago
