When researching my ancestors on Ancestry, I discovered that my great-great. etc. grandfather died in the King Philip's War. I had never heard of that war until I found information on my grandfather. He was a captain. and there is a sign with his name somewhere in Rhode Island, I think. My Ancestry account will not open, so I can't remember his name at the moment. I have saved this link you posted, so I can learn more about this war. Maybe his name will come up.
