I agree that it is a significant conversion of a former Republican. It will be wise for other Democrats to listen and consider his input.

describes exactly what is going on with the Fascist thugs.. trying to install trump over the Will of the People.. who Voted in the Majority for Joe Biden.

He knows how dangerous it is and that's why he became a Dem on this day in history.

We need all hands on board.. and it sure ain't gonna be someone like nina turner who said "Voting for Biden is like eating a bowl of shit"..

Bernie Sanders’ Campaign Co-Chair Nina Turner Compares Voting For Biden To Eating ‘S**t’

....(at least rhetorically), but now that she realizes her new "People's Party" hasn't done it's homework in Ohio she's announced that she "has" to run as a Democrat.

That's all in her People's Party email announcing that she's running for Fudge's House seat:

It's official! Sen. Nina Turner is running for Congress. She's running for the seat vacated by Rep. Marcia Fudge, who Joe Biden has chosen as secretary of Housing and Urban Development. The People's Party isn't on the ballot in Ohio yet so she will have to run as a Democrat, but we can't think of anyone better to win that seat and bring a friend of the People's Party to Congress.

Someone should remind her that the seat has NOT been vacated yet by Rep. Marcia Fudge! She still has to be confirmed by the Senate.

than Nina Turner.. & spare us the .. ".. have to run as a Democrat.. "

Marcia Fudge's protege, Shontel Brown will run as a proud Working Dem!

Brown, also the chairwoman of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, is likely to garner institutional support from party bigwigs, including Fudge. The congresswoman has taken to mentoring Brown, including coalescing support for Brown’s chair race.

“I am committed to running if she is nominated,” Brown said, adding she was in the early stages of putting together a team. She also filed her FEC paperwork on Wednesday.

TY, George

The so-called People's Party doesn't sound like it's much of a party. More like a group of malcontent nitwits and gadflies. It's just another anti-Democratic party vehicle for resentful individuals with an axe to grind against the Democratic party. Fuck the "People's Party"! I only support Democrats.

Turner's shitty statement is all about division. I vote for and donate to Democrats who help unify the party, not divide it.

BTW, it was a long hard fight, but it is very hopeful that Joe and Kamala won with millions to spare. Gotta give you credit, you were there from the very beginning.

That a lot of us don’t have. It’s not always about the policies of the day. It’s about what the party stands for. I get a little tired of people on the left pounding on their favorite issue. They disregard our entire history. We should not underestimate The importance of this.

Steve's announcement shocked me. I welcome him to the party and congratulate him on making the same decision I made 28 years ago. I can also say I made that decision for the same reasons. I saw the republican party turning in a direction of which I wanted no part.

So again, welcome Steve. You have one of the most eloquent ways of communicating the dangers facing, as well as the blessings of our democratic republic. Stay strong!
